This is really well done! I really like the color scheme. I would tone the text down in the background. As it is text, your eye immediately wants to read it, maybe lower the opacity?

Also, i understand you used a text brush but maybe next time create your own effect with text? I would recommend going to Wikipedia (the text there is free) and using text from an article on ayumi so that the text has a little more meaning regarding the image. Then in photoshop just play around with it. Pick a font that's a little hard to read or flip the text backwards. You want the text to have meaning, but at the same time you don't want the text to be the focus.
